Information for the Vendors: · All birds must be benched no later than 30 minutes prior to sale start time. · No birds are to be sold prior to the sale start time. · No poultry and No racing pigeons. · No sick, unweaned, injured or distressed birds. · No shell grit. · All birds must be displayed in properly constructed, wire-fronted, cages or boxes that are of an appropriate size for the number and size of birds contained. No cardboard boxes will be allowed for displaying birds. · All birds must have access to food and water. · Vendors selling birds that require permits must disclose their permit details to the ASSA at the time of registration. · Vendors must utilise the transfer stations when removing birds from display cages. · All transactions are strictly between the vendor and the purchaser. · Vendors must disclose their permit details and swap appropriate information with the purchasers at the time of the sale of any birds requiring permits. · Owners are responsible for the recapture of any escapees. · No vendor may sell any other products without prior approval from ASSA. · Vendors must wear the ASSA-provided ID badge and attach the cage tag to the display cage. · The ASSA stewards will make the final decision on the suitability of any birds, cages or containers brought into the venue and will resolve any disputes.
